Epanomi beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 65th place out of 367 beaches in the Central Macedonia region 29.6 km away from its center, the city of Thessaloniki. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Paralia Epanomes settlement, just 3.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, partygoers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The water on the south side is clean and cold, while it's slightly warmer on the north side, although there is some seaweed present. I drove my car until the canteen, which was in good condition. I had to leave the beach before 12, but it was quite challenging due to the heavy influx of cars.

One of the most stunning spots near Thessaloniki is this beach. It's incredibly serene and peaceful. We took a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, although the water was a bit chilly for swimming. However, I believe it would be much warmer in June or July. We even stumbled upon some beautiful seashells. In my opinion, this is the ultimate camping destination.

The beach offers a remarkable and intriguing natural experience. The powerful waves on the west side contrast with the peaceful shallows on the east side, allowing you to walk to the very tip where each meets at your feet. I have a fondness for moments and locations like this, where the earth displays its peculiarities. It feels truly enchanting, and the distance you have to walk adds to the sense of seclusion and atmospheric ambiance. There are several fantastic photo opportunities, such as the sunken ship, the wall with a door, and the small church. All the elements necessary for a Terry Gilliam movie, like Time Bandits, are present.
