Gianiskari beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 11th place out of 166 beaches in the Western Greece region 33.2 km away from its center, the city of Patras. It is one of the beaches of Kalogria settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

Gianiskari beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling. This beach is popular for windsurfing or kiteboarding.
