Paralia Drepanou beach is located on the Gulf of Corinth (part of Ionian Sea) and it is in the 94th place out of 166 beaches in the Western Greece region 15 km away from its center, the city of Patras. It is one of the beaches of Psathopyrgos settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

In the past, the beach used to be untouched, with only a small fish tavern. Over time, it has undergone development and now boasts two beach bars, one offering water slides and the other with a more Cyrillic vibe. Nevertheless, there is still ample space for anyone looking to relax on the beach with their towel or chair, and it remains absolutely fantastic.
