The bay is absolutely stunning, but it tends to get crowded quite quickly. If you're hoping to soak up the sun, it's advisable to pay a visit in the morning since it faces east. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a decent amount of shade thanks to the rocks above.
The beach is a small pebbly one located near the old port of Spetses. To reach the beach, you simply need to turn right at the first alley from the uphill of Guzel and walk for about 5 minutes. There are no sunbeds or shade available. However, you will be pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere, the crystal-clear waters, and the stunning view of the neighboring island of Spetsopoula.
This beach is absolutely fantastic, nestled in a peaceful cove and conveniently accessible from the town. It's a pure haven of untouched nature, without any umbrellas or loungers.
I live on Spetses and I absolutely love Garifalo beach. I enjoy taking walks there with my dog, and when my daughter and my grandchildren come to visit around Easter, we spend a lot of time there. The children love swimming in their wet suits, and we always make sure to bring a picnic with us.
