The beach may appear appealing at first glance, but don't be fooled by its facade. Unless you arrive promptly, securing a sunbed will be a daunting task. The beauty of the beach is overshadowed by the chaos of the crowd vying for a spot to bask in the sun's rays. It's a shame that such a picturesque location is marred by the struggle for a place to relax.
The beach is truly a magnificent sight, however, the abundance of boats and yachts that are anchored too close to the shore is quite disappointing.
In my humble opinion, the most exquisite beach in Spetses awaits your arrival. It is a must-visit destination that will leave you in awe of its natural beauty. However, if you are not an experienced driver, the mountain road leading to this paradise may pose a challenge. Fear not, for there are small boats available at the old port that will take you directly to this magnificent beach.
This beach is a real hidden gem, only reachable by boat or scooter. The stunning scenery and crystal clear waters are sure to take your breath away. However, don't expect to sink your toes into soft sand - the ground is as hard as a rock. There is a small tavern on site, but beware - the food selection is limited and you'll need to book a table in advance. And if you were hoping to grab a bite to eat and enjoy it on the beach, think again - take away isn't an option here. But hey, who needs food when you've got such a beautiful view?
The beach at Spetses was an absolute delight, easily the most pleasant we've visited. The atmosphere was tranquil and serene until noon, which was perfect for us. Our snorkelling expedition was a treat as we were able to witness the most incredible array of fish. We also enjoyed a leisurely swim in the calm waters. Although the restaurant wasn't the best, the beach was definitely worth the visit. However, we did encounter some difficulty finding it as the route on Google Maps was inaccurate. We had to travel further down the main road and take a side road to reach it. We visited on a Monday and were hoping to return on Wednesday, but were disappointed to find that there were no sunbeds or umbrellas available, and we had not brought our own. It's advisable to check beforehand if they will be available on the day of your visit, as we were informed that they are only provided on weekends.
