Prapa Mali beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 23th place out of 90 beaches in the Epirus region 61.1 km away from its center, the city of Ioannina. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Karavostasi settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Prapa Mali beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Getting to the beach is not easy. To reach it, you need to take a path more than 1km long.

The beach offers a powdery sand and shallow, pristine waters that are a sight to behold. However, reaching it can prove to be quite the challenge, as it requires a sturdy 4x4 vehicle and a brief hike. Alternatively, visitors can opt for a regular car ride to the nearby archaeological site, followed by a steep uphill trek back. For those who prefer to arrive by boat, that option is also available. Despite the obstacles, the beach is a true gem that is well worth the effort, provided that visitors plan accordingly.

After a 30-minute walk from the end of the road, we were eager to find a spot to satisfy our cravings. And then, we stumbled upon a beautiful beach. The swim was long and tiring, but the journey back and uphill climb were even more challenging. However, the experience was worth every ounce of effort we put in. We had a great time and enjoyed every moment of it.
