Stavrolimena beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 40th place out of 90 beaches in the Epirus region 59.9 km away from its center, the city of Ioannina. It is one of the beaches of Karavostasi settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and white shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors, partygoers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This beach is absolutely breathtaking, and the best part is that they welcome furry friends! You can indulge in some delicious snacks and refreshing beverages from the quaint little kiosk on site. Plus, there's a complimentary shower to rinse off the sand before heading back to your car. Accessing this slice of paradise is a breeze, with ample parking available. Overall, I would give this beach an impressive 8 out of 10 rating.

The seafloor is covered in rocks and pebbles, but the water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Access to the beach is easy to find, with nearby parking and a short 1-2 minute walk down to the beach.
