Beautiful, idyllic swimming area on a large natural lake right on the border between Mecklenburg and Schleswig-Holstein. Parking is available on the edge of the cobblestone street. Because of its location away from town, but still with good transport links, the bathing area is popular with locals, but is rarely overcrowded. The large lawn offers sunny and shady places; there is a picnic table and various benches. Unfortunately, the toilet that is important for such places, previously a mobile toilet, was not installed again this year, so people often go into the bushes "for business". The access to the lake is a gently sloping sandy shore where children can play; The non-swimmer area is not marked! The water is very clear with good visibility and many small fish can also be observed here. Important: It is a pure (unguarded) swimming area; The use of any watercraft (including stand-up boards) is prohibited!
