Freibad Weissensee is located on the Weissensee Lake and it is in the 7th place out of 26 beaches in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region 120.6 km away from its center, the city of Trieste. It is one of the beaches of Ex Villaggio Cocco settlement, just 17.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. The lake is beautiful, surrounded by stunning nature. Taking a boat cruise around the lake is a must-see experience. However, it can get a bit crowded at times. The lake water is perfect for swimming during the summer, and there are plenty of water activities to enjoy. It's worth noting that all the boats are electric, but it's puzzling why they still allow big boat rides that run on diesel. We paid 16.50€ per person for a round trip, so a total of 33€ for two adults.

It continues to be the most stunning lake in Austria. It is perfect during the summer as the lake is pleasantly refreshing and secluded, ensuring there is no overcrowding from tourists. I highly recommend it.

This lake is absolutely stunning! The water is crystal clear and has a mesmerizing turquoise blue color. There are even areas where the water appears white, which is why it's called that. It's truly breathtaking! I had to pay €4.50 to access the beach.

The outdoor pool at the highest lake in Carinthia is stunning and well-maintained. It is perfect for families with easy access to the crystal-clear blue water. Additionally, there are facilities such as a restaurant and restrooms. The beach also features a playground for children, and the entire area is accessible for strollers. The admission fee of €4.50 is reasonable, and if you bring your own standup paddleboard, there is an additional charge of €5. Diving courses can also be booked, and there are plenty of free parking spaces available.
