Plage Capinca is located on the Ligurian Sea and it is in the 20th place out of 92 beaches in the Haute-Corse region 7.2 km away from its center, the city of Bastia. It is one of the beaches of Lavasina settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a short straight coastline with crystal blue water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. Walked about a mile down the slightly scary, busy road from Brando to have lunch and a swim at this place. It is closed! Looks deserted and out of business. Sign is up on the road and there are some small faded menu signs on the sign post. But a walk down the hill reveals a place that appears to have been closed for good. No furniture, no equipment, just a locked up old building. Perhaps it is just closed for the season as I see there are some recent reviews showing it was open. It is 80 and sunny and the season is still going so…. It is Sept 8, 2022 and we were there at 1pm.
