The beach is divided into two pebble coves, with crystal clear water that is easily accessible. During peak season, there are supervised swimming areas and free showers for rinsing off. However, the proximity to the Toga port can sometimes result in a fuel oil odor.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a buildup of trash cans and the trash can holders are empty. This is a concerning issue as it may result in litter ending up in the ocean once again. It's disappointing that the town hall seems to have neglected this area.
The beach isn't overly crowded and has pebbles, so remember to bring your shoes. The upside is that you won't have sand sticking to you on the way out. It might not be the best choice if you have young children, but overall it's a nice and well-maintained spot.
Although it's a gorgeous spot, I didn't find the swimming experience as enjoyable as other beaches in Bastia due to the slippery rocks when entering the water. The strong current only adds to the challenge, turning the swim into more of a workout. However, it can also be quite amusing.
The beach is made up of stones and rocks and is quite small. The water is easily accessible and clean.
