Plage du Jai is located on the Berre Pond and it is in the 20th place out of 59 beaches in the Bouches-du-Rhone region 21 km away from its center, the city of Marseille. It is one of the beaches of Marignane settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Plage du Jai coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

The beach is really nice and has a lot of seashells. It's a fun spot for kids, although the water isn't very clean. You won't find any big waves there, but it could still be a great destination for a family day trip.

The water was teeming with sea grass and crabs 🦀, and unfortunately, I couldn't find a restroom or a place to store my belongings. However, the breathtaking sight of the sunset against the backdrop of airplanes ✈️ landing one after another was absolutely incredible!
