The Calanques are definitely worth visiting and the best way to get there is by foot, following the endless paths and stairs that connect the sea-facing villas to the lush gardens. The view of the sea is breathtaking for about 75% of the time. Although the initial hike can be physically demanding, the stunning scenery makes it worthwhile. The only downside is that the departure from the port of Ensués is poorly marked, but once you get past that, it's smooth sailing.
The beach is made up of rocks and stones, but the access to it is quite narrow. Unfortunately, there are only about four parking spaces available about 1.5 kilometers away, making it difficult to manage the access.
The beach is incredibly peaceful and isolated, but it requires some effort to reach. However, the stunning scenery that awaits makes it all worthwhile. Additionally, the sun shines well into the evening hours.
Magic
Despite visiting during the winter, we had a wonderful time. The promenade by the sea was quite nice.
