The beach is stunning with a stony shore and ample room for sunbathing. It's advisable to check the tide schedule as there is also a stretch of soft sand visible when the tide is low, which is perfect for kids. While the water may be chilly, there are plenty of swimmers around. The beach boasts numerous lifeguards and clear signage indicating where it is safe to swim. In close proximity to the beach are plenty of restrooms and food kiosks selling souvenirs. Although there is free parking, it can get quite crowded, so it's best to arrive early, especially during the summer season.
This is a great spot that's suitable for all! Just remember to stay safe and enjoy yourself. After all, life is too short!
This is a great spot to catch a stunning sunset. Dogs are welcome on the beach, though during the summer months there may be some restrictions.
It was a pleasant experience, although I only had a short 30-minute visit before my ferry check-in. I enjoyed a good cup of coffee and took a quick run around the beach. It appeared to have a mixture of flint and sand.
The beach is delightful and conveniently located near some shops. Visitors can enjoy a bar, toilets, and the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and ice cream. Although it is a rocky beach, on nice days in the afternoon when the tide recedes, a lovely sandy beach is revealed. It is definitely worth the wait, but visitors should consider wearing crocs as the rocky terrain can be painful to walk on. The beach is child-friendly, but beware of a metal pipe in the middle. It's a great place to take an evening stroll and watch the sunset. Highly recommended.
