Cala Longa beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 185th place out of 255 beaches in the South Corsica region 41.7 km away from its center, the city of Ajaccio. It is one of the beaches of Tizzano settlement, just 3.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Although the beach is a decent spot for boats to anchor, I would recommend Cala Tivella or the small cove after Cala Longa for swimming during a hike towards Tizzano. It's worth noting that there are quite a few Posidonia deposits on the beach.

The calanque is quite picturesque, with clear turquoise waters. Though there are a lot of boats around, it's still feasible to swim and go snorkeling. Unfortunately, the beach is covered in decomposing algae, making it impossible to access.
