This beach is quite lovely with rocks situated in the middle of the water. However, the last 400 meters by car can be challenging due to a damaged sandy road with rocks and holes (filled with water when we passed). It is possible to navigate the road slowly and park below.
I would definitely not recommend this beach. The sand is extremely narrow and is mostly covered in dried algae. The water may look clear, but it is also filled with algae.
This beach, located just a half hour away from Bonifacio, is delightfully uncrowded. The tamarisk trees that line the shore create natural shaded spots, thanks to their roots that extend into the water. You'll also find some rounded rocks jutting out of the water, perfect for snorkeling around. However, some visitors have noted that the water can be a bit brackish and warm.
The beach is truly magnificent and is situated above a stunning Genoese tower. However, it seems that the access to the beach is a bit challenging, which could be the reason why there aren't many visitors. Nevertheless, you have the option to take a long walk from the tower to the vast Saint Jean beach.
This beach is reminiscent of a swimming pool and is perfect for unwinding without being surrounded by crowds of people.
