I hopped on a motorbike with a random guy. He is a salesperson. He brought me here, because this is a place where all the boats depart from to cayo levantado , I was looking for random People to come with me so we can take the trip for a good price but I didn’t he wanted to charge me 5000 DOM for a private boat to take me there with food and drinks but I didn’t think it worth it as it was already 2 PM.

The beach is so beautiful. However, the residents blocked the main 2 ways road. We were unable to move because they were striking against the high rates from the electric company Edenor. The residents blocked the road cutting down trees, branches, burning tires and braking glass bottles all over the road. It took about 3 hours for the police to clear the roads. Some of the residents were armed with machetes.
