Playa Los Yagrumos is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 113th place out of 246 beaches in the Dominican Republic region 104.9 km away from its center, the city of Santo Domingo. It is one of the beaches of Samana settlement, just 5.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure gray fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The beach is absolutely breathtaking. The cuisine at the resort is the most exceptional I've ever had. Every single staff member is incredibly friendly and accommodating. While it may be pricey, you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality.

In all honesty, the nearby mainland appeared quite impoverished, and while I don't mean to sound snobbish, I'm grateful for the separation provided by a 15-minute boat ride for the sake of safety.
