Glyki Nero beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 6th place out of 110 beaches in the Cyprus region 62.7 km away from its center, the city of Nicosia. It is one of the beaches of Ayia Napa settlement, just 1.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Glyki Nero beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, toilets. This beach is truly exceptional. Although it may be small in size, it is undeniably charming and offers an array of amenities including showers, a bistro, sunbeds, and umbrellas, as well as water sports. The water is crystal clear and pleasantly warm, while the sand is soft and inviting. It is undoubtedly one of the finest beaches in Aya Napa, and there is even a parking option and restaurant situated above it for added convenience.

This beach is quite lovely, if you're into that sort of thing. There are a few establishments nearby where you can consume food and beverages, but don't expect any Michelin stars. If you're feeling adventurous, you can partake in some water sports, like jet skiing or paragliding. And if you're feeling particularly lazy, you can rent a sun lounger or umbrella for a mere 2.50 euro each. It's a decent option if you're looking for a beach day, but don't expect anything too extraordinary.

In my opinion, this beach stands out as the finest in the city, surpassing even the likes of Sandy and Nissi. For a truly enjoyable experience, it's advisable to arrive early on weekends as the availability of umbrellas and sunbeds can become scarce as the day progresses, leaving little to no shade.
