Looking for a spot to get your heart pumping in the winter? Look no further than this charming beach, perfect for a brisk hike. Just make sure you bring your hiking boots, because you'll need them to tackle the rocky terrain. And when you reach the halfway point, be sure to stop and take in the breathtaking view of the crack, which is almost near the end of the cliff. But don't worry, the beach and sea are just as lovely as the hike, with crystal clear waters and pristine sand. Plus, you won't have to worry about finding a spot to park, and the bathrooms are spotless and well-maintained. All in all, this is a great spot to get a little exercise and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Although the water may not be as pristine as the neighboring Nissi Beach and Makronissos Beach, this small and bustling beach offers its own unique charm. Despite the crowds, the beach is well-maintained and protected from the wind, resulting in pleasantly warm waters. So, don't let the lack of crystal-clear waters deter you from enjoying all that this vibrant beach has to offer!
This is the top beach in the area! When we visited in June 2021, it was serene and tranquil with very few people around in the mornings. We explored other beaches in the vicinity, but this one stole our hearts ♥️. Nissi and Macronissos were both extremely crowded, while Pernera had rocky terrain that required shoes to enter the water. On the other hand, Vathia Gonia had pristine sand and crystal-clear water. You can easily rent a sun bed for 2.5 euros and a sun umbrella for 2.5 euros per day. I would definitely recommend it!
The beach is a breathtaking sight with all the necessary facilities. It's accessible to the public even during the off-season, making it an ideal spot to unwind on your vacation. The peaceful ambiance of the beach is perfect for families seeking tranquility.
