Salamis beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 1th place out of 51 beaches in the Northern Cyprus region 9.1 km away from its center, the city of Famagosta. It is one of the beaches of Agios Sergios settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. I've never been to a dirtier beach in my life. Cigarette butts are scattered all over the place, making it completely unsafe for children. It's truly repulsive and I strongly advise against visiting.

The beach is absolutely repulsive, extremely filthy with cigarette butts, bottle caps, shattered glass, and trash scattered everywhere. The water doesn't fare much better either. I have no intention of returning to this place.
