The island is incredibly stunning and boasts an exotic atmosphere. It's a peaceful haven without the hustle and bustle of cars.
This petite island boasts a handful of dining establishments, but it doesn't offer anything particularly remarkable. If you're considering a visit solely for this island, it may not be worth your while 😊.
Nestled on an idyllic island with a population of only 200, lies a breathtaking beach that remains untouched by urbanization. The only way to reach this hidden gem is by boat, which adds to the allure of this serene paradise. Located just 45 minutes away from Dubrovnik, this beach is a haven for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. During our week-long stay at the TUI Kalamota Island Resort, we were captivated by the stunning location of the hotel, which was situated right next to the beach. The beach was perfect for long, leisurely walks and basking in the tranquil atmosphere. With no cars in sight, this is the ultimate destination for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature's beauty.
This is a truly beautiful destination to explore, and it's quite enjoyable to traverse the island via golf buggies to get to the stunning Plaza beach.
The island is absolutely stunning with its picturesque sandy beach and inviting caves that offer a refreshing swim. It is an ideal destination for a perfect getaway. We made reservations for a half-day boat tour from Dubrovnik, which took us to explore the 1 blue cave, 3 caves, and Koločep Island before returning. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. However, it is advisable to bring your own food as it is not readily available on the island. Drinks, on the other hand, are easily accessible. Compared to other blue cave tours in Split, this tour is much more affordable.
