Trstenik beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 51th place out of 215 beaches in the Dubrovnik-Neretva region The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This serene beach is nestled alongside a bustling strip of cafes and restaurants, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. Notably, the beach also boasts a public shower, adding to the ease and comfort of your day spent soaking up the sun and sea.

The only positive aspects of this beach are the availability of free parking and the peaceful atmosphere, as it is not frequented by many visitors. Upon stepping onto the beach, we discovered new and unused glass vials and syringe needles. The pebbles, although round in shape, are not stable underfoot, making walking quite challenging. The sides of the waterfront are covered in large slippery stones and sea urchins, necessitating a dive into the water within the first few meters. However, the middle section of the beach is more favorable, with smaller stones and a depth of 2 meters. The water is clear, but it is also the coldest we have encountered so far during our visit to the 12th beach in Croatia.

The small village has a truly calming atmosphere. The residents often light fires outside their houses, which adds a delightful scent to the place. Although the beach is the primary highlight, it's worth taking a hike to fully appreciate the surrounding views.
