Porto Rosso beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 117th place out of 215 beaches in the Dubrovnik-Neretva region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. Daily boat rental service is located nearby.

After speaking with the restaurant manager and the harbor over the phone, we reached an agreement that all the crews would dine at the restaurant to avoid paying for the mooring. However, upon our arrival, we discovered that we had already paid for the food, yet we still had to pay for the mooring. The service deceived us. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
