Teplus beach

Teplus beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 273th place out of 378 beaches in the Split-Dalmatia region 57.7 km away from its center, the city of Split. It is one of the beaches of Rukavac settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. Daily boat rental service is located nearby. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Teplus beach (Split-Dalmatia) is located outside the Rukavac settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

The beach stretches on the coast of the Vis island and the easiest way to get to the beach is by car or bike. If you don't have this option, then the second best solution is to use the taxi, which can drive you directly to the beach. The only problem, if your stay is far away it can be quite expensive. There is also a possibility of use of public transport, but in this case you need to check the correct route to the Teplus beach with the locals.
