Plaza Murter is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 28th place out of 87 beaches in the Šibenik-Knin region 27.8 km away from its center, the city of Sibenik. It is one of the beaches of Murter settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Plaza Murter coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, toilets. .

The beach is stunning and has a small peninsula. During my visit in mid-May on a weekday, there were no crowds, no charge for parking, and no food or drinks available (although there are supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants nearby). Unfortunately, there were no restroom facilities on site, but it was convenient to park very close to the beach.
