This stunning beach has a unique blend of soft sand and smooth rocks. The tranquil waters are noticeably warmer than those found on the mainland, making for a comfortable swim. Although there are no changing facilities, the availability of free showers and plenty of shaded areas make this a truly delightful spot to spend the day. A single dry toilet cabin is conveniently located near the road, ensuring a safe and hygienic experience. We were pleased to find that our belongings were secure when we left our blankets behind to grab lunch in Tkon.
The beach doesn't have much depth, as it's mostly sandy for about 100 meters. While scuba diving may not be an option, there are still plenty of other enjoyable activities to partake in.
Tkon's best beach, although lacking a shower.
The beach offers a shallow sandy shoreline with ample shade to provide respite from the sun's scorching rays, making it an ideal spot for families with children. It's neither too crowded nor deserted, striking a perfect balance. While the seabed has some stones, it's advisable to equip the kids with appropriate footwear. Additionally, a chemical toilet is at hand for convenience.
The beach is sandy and secluded, which means there aren't many people around. To get there, you'll need to take a ferry from either Biograd or Zadar to Pashman Island.
