Frankly, I find it puzzling that some reviews of this beach are overwhelmingly positive. The shoreline is littered with rocks, making it less than ideal for families with young children. It might suffice for those living in close proximity who fancy a quick dip in the sea, but as far as quality beach time goes, it leaves something to be desired. The upside is that the beach is relatively uncrowded, and there's a charming little bar with ample seating. Additionally, there's a section where dogs are permitted, although it's worth noting that this area is particularly rocky.
Nice beach to spend your day, complete with two charming bars to quench your thirst. Unfortunately, furry friends are prohibited from joining in on the fun. However, there is a tiny section of the beach designated for our canine companions, though it may not be the most comfortable spot due to its rocky terrain.
This little stretch of shoreline is an ideal spot for families seeking a peaceful and enjoyable day out. Its intimate size allows for a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, while still providing ample space for children to play and explore. The beach's gentle waves and crystal-clear waters create a serene and inviting environment, perfect for swimming or simply lounging on the sand. Overall, this small but charming beach is a wonderful destination for families looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy some quality time together in a picturesque setting.
Peaceful and quiet
During my visit to this beach and the charming town, I had the pleasure of attending the Hideout Festival. While the beach is rocky, as are many of the beaches in Croatia, the water is pristine, though it can still be chilly towards the end of June. The seafloor is covered in water grass, giving the water a deep blue hue rather than the typical light green or blue. Despite its beauty, the area of Vidalici and Kustici is not heavily frequented by tourists. The natural surroundings can be somewhat eerie, with a lack of trees and a terrain that resembles that of Mars.
