Welcome to a hidden gem of a beach, tucked away in the woods and waiting for the intrepid traveler to discover its beauty. To get here, you'll need to navigate a tricky turn and keep your eyes peeled for a small parking lot at the start of an asphalted road. Don't worry, though - the journey is worth it. As you make your way down the road, you'll catch glimpses of the stunning scenery that awaits you. The woods give way to an expansive area with a PRIVATE ramp and space for a handful of cars. Yes, you'll need to jump the ramp (it's not exactly user-friendly), but trust us - it's all part of the adventure. From there, it's a steep 20-minute trek downhill to the beach itself. But don't let the workout deter you - the pebble beach is a sight to behold. Surrounded by trees and boasting crystal-clear, calm waters, it's the perfect spot to soak up some sun and enjoy the tranquility of nature. For an extra touch of charm, be sure to check out the swing on the right side of the beach. It's the perfect place to take a break from swimming and enjoy the view. All in all, this is a beach that's well worth the effort to reach. So grab your sunscreen and get ready to explore!
This stunning beach is just a leisurely 20-minute stroll away, and it's definitely worth the effort. If you're driving, simply follow the signs until you reach the private marker, and then it's a pleasant walk to the beach. The scenery is breathtaking, and the beach itself is a true gem.
Oh, what a stunning beach! If you're coming from Cres, take a right from the main road and you'll find ample parking space right there. Alternatively, you can drive down around 300 meters, but be careful of the gravel surface. As you descend, you'll find three parking lots on your right, nestled between hedges. If you continue down for around 300 meters, you'll reach a private gate with 4-5 car lots in front of it. Once you've parked, it's a leisurely 20-minute downhill walk to the beach. Despite being able to accommodate 500 sunbeds, you'll find none here, nor will you encounter many people. The water boasts a delightful lagoon-like blue hue, thanks to the sandy surface. Check out my map for parking lot locations (orange) and the gate (purple). Enjoy your visit!
Accessing this beach by car requires navigating a dirt road off the main D101 road. While the road may be passable, its condition is less than ideal. After a short distance, the road leads to a barrier with a private sign. Beyond the barrier lies a secluded community of individuals who live in trailers, resembling a camping site without amenities. Once you surpass this area, you will arrive at the beach. Unfortunately, the beach is not as pristine as other areas on Cres. Compared to other destinations on the island, this beach may not be worth the effort of reaching it on foot.
A must-see destination for those who have their own boat! It's highly recommended to arrive early during peak season, but an even better time to visit would be in May or June. This way, you can have the entire bay all to yourself. It's truly a magnificent experience to bask in the beauty of the beach and soak up the sun's rays. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to create unforgettable memories on your own private beach.
