Plaza Jezero is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 84th place out of 215 beaches in the Dubrovnik-Neretva region The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Plaza Jezero coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Plaza Jezero (Dubrovnik-Neretva) is located outside the Duba Peljeska settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

The beach stretches on the sunny coast and the easiest way to get to the beach is by car or bike. If you don't have this option, then the second best solution is to use the taxi, which can drive you directly to the beach. The only problem, if your stay is far away it can be quite expensive. There is also a possibility of use of public transport, but in this case you need to check the correct route to the Plaza Jezero with the locals. While exploring the vicinity, we stumbled upon a beach that quickly became one of our top picks. Though it requires a bit of a trek, the payoff is a serene and peaceful atmosphere, especially during the off-season. I have to admit that the beach is stunningly beautiful, but it's disheartening to see how people treat it as if it's their private property. The amount of litter and waste left behind is frustrating, and the noise level from screaming children and barking dogs is quite high. Despite these drawbacks, the view is absolutely breathtaking, and it's one of the reasons why I love Croatia.
