Kupaliste Ovcice is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 166th place out of 378 beaches in the Split-Dalmatia region 1.5 km away from its center, the city of Spalato. It is one of the beaches of Split settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

The beach is quite pleasant, but it's advisable to bring shoes for bathing since there are many stones and we came across some glass shards. If you're interested in renting a sun lounger with a parasol, it'll set you back 150 kuna, but it's yours for the whole day. There's a small bar that serves beer and ice cream for the kids. Additionally, there are toilets available on site.
