Martinska beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 18th place out of 87 beaches in the Šibenik-Knin region 1.8 km away from its center, the city of Sibenik. It is one of the beaches of Sibenik settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

The beach, although small, offers a pristine view of Šibenik. It was pleasantly uncrowded during my visit on a Saturday morning at 8:30, with no other people in sight. Since there are no nearby shops, it's important to plan ahead and bring everything you need.
