As I pedaled my way from Zadar to the sandy shore, I was greeted by a breathtaking vista that immediately put me at ease. The beach was a true oasis of tranquility, and I was completely enamored by its serene atmosphere. The water was shallow and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families with children. I cannot express enough how much I adored this place, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Unfortunately, the upkeep of this beach leaves much to be desired. The sandy shore is littered with discarded cigarette butts, and the overall ambiance is lacking in organization. To rent an umbrella and sun chair, one must pay a steep price of 100 Kuna. Given the cost, I had hoped for a more satisfactory experience. While there is potential for improvement, I cannot see myself returning to this beach in its current state.
The beach presents a wonderful option for families with young children, as it boasts a shallow sea that gradually rises. While the beach is generally pleasant, a minor setback is the presence of small stones and gravel at the edge of the sea, approximately 3-5 meters from the entrance. Despite this, the sea itself is clear and sandy, providing a pristine environment for swimming. The beach is also equipped with convenient amenities such as showers, toilets, and a small bar that offers refreshments like pancakes and hotdogs.
The crystal-clear waters of this stunning beach are truly breathtaking. Even during the quieter Eastern season, the vast expanse of water is perfect for a refreshing dip, with the added bonus of being able to swim up to 100 meters out. The invigorating mix of cold water and warm sun is a match made in heaven. It's no wonder this beach is fit for royalty - the Queen Beach combo is simply unbeatable.
Rare gem of a beach, blanketed in soft sand and surrounded by tranquil waters. While the sea entrance may have a few pebbles to navigate, once you pass through them, you'll be greeted with nothing but pure, velvety sand under your toes. The beach offers only one bar, with a limited selection of drinks, but the peaceful ambiance more than makes up for it. Unfortunately, families with children may find the lack of a kids menu to be a drawback.
