Maslenica beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 94th place out of 216 beaches in the Zadar region 27.2 km away from its center, the city of Zadar. It is one of the beaches of Maslenica settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a short straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Maslenica beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children.

The cost of admission seems steep considering the amenities provided. Unfortunately, the level of hospitality and assistance from the employees fell short of our hopes during our stay. We noticed that the cash register was frequently unattended, and upon their return, staff members appeared to scold children who had entered the park while they were away. This gave us the impression that parents were being targeted in an effort to collect additional fees. It is important to note that this is simply our personal observation and not a confirmed occurrence. Nonetheless, the water park facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable.

In my personal view, the cost of indulging in water activities at the beach seems a tad bit steep. However, if you happen to be vacationing with your young ones and have set up camp or taken a leisurely stroll along the shore, it's hard to resist splurging on their enjoyment.
