Gortan's Cove is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 24th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 43.5 km away from its center, the city of Pazin. It is one of the beaches of Pula settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Gortan's Cove coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Large parking spot is located directly on the beach.

The beach is fantastic and easily accessible from Pula center, taking only around 25 minutes on foot. Alternatively, you can park your vehicle in one of the many free parking spots nearby. It's worth noting that the beach is comprised of light pebbles.

Additionally, there are convenient amenities like restrooms and a nearby café. During our visit, the beach was not overcrowded, which made for a more enjoyable experience. The beach, located close to the city, is suitable for families and young people. There is ample and complimentary parking available (visited in June). One can purchase two small drinks and an ice cream from the store on top for 7 euros, which is quite expensive.
