Plyazh Pisulj is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 164th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 30.4 km away from its center, the city of Pazin. It is one of the beaches of Kalandra settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

I believe the reviews are referring to Plaža Palud, not Plaža Psulj. It's best not to rely on Google for directions. We walked for 20 minutes and only reached the center of the bird sanctuary, despite Google's claim of it being a one-minute walk. If you're up for an adventure, continue exploring, but make sure to bring mosquito repellent. However, if you're searching for a traditional beach experience, this is not the place for you.
