Sotokastel beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 164th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 25.4 km away from its center, the city of Pisino. It is one of the beaches of Blesicka settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Sotokastel beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

We attempted to reach the beach on foot, following the directions of another reviewer, but it was impossible. The forest path eventually vanished, making it easy to become disoriented. We wouldn't recommend this approach.

Finding the beach on foot can be a bit tricky, so be sure to double-check your Google Maps directions. There's a parking area for up to four cars at coordinates 45.1274734, 13.6532646, and the track to the beach is about 800m long. Look for a turn off to the right marked with stones. Tour boats moor up here, so it's best to visit before 10am or after 4pm if you want to have the beach to yourself. Once you get there, you'll find it's a great spot for swimming!
