The beach is incredibly stunning. We visited during the rainy season and the waves were absolutely amazing. It's definitely worth checking out the small restaurant located at the far end of the beach.
The beach is absolutely fantastic - it stretches out for a long distance and offers a serene atmosphere. Despite being a popular spot, it doesn't get too crowded, allowing for a peaceful experience. The color of the sea is simply breathtaking. During our visit, we were amazed by the enormous waves, although the locals mentioned that it was an uncommon occurrence. The strong wind added to the charm of the place. Unfortunately, there weren't any restaurants directly on the beach, except for the one belonging to the luxurious 5-star hotel. As a result, we had to take a stroll up the street to Sea Breeze restaurant. The presence of ample security around the beach was noticeable, mainly due to the hotel's arrival two years ago, which unfortunately led to the demolition of a few cabana restaurants - a truly disheartening situation.
The beach was fantastic. On the day we visited, the ocean was quite turbulent, so we decided not to swim. There were a couple of dogs on the beach, but they didn't cause any problems. Unfortunately, none of the bars or restaurants were open during our visit, so we're not sure if it was just bad timing.
Tangalle's Silent Beach is a stunning, undiscovered treasure. With its crystal blue waters and minimal crowds, it offers an ideal setting for a serene walk along its nearly 1km stretch. This beach holds particular appeal for international visitors.
This beach is one of the best ones you'll find between Tangalle and Dikwella. The ocean is usually calm, and there are no hazardous areas on the beach, although it's important to be cautious around the rocks. There is a specific spot where you can see some stones and waves crashing. Additionally, the beach has a few great beach-bars and restaurants, and the parking situation is good, although space is limited.
