Sunset Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 21th place out of 39 beaches in the Khaet Preah Sihanouk region The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Sunset Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

The beach was extremely clean when we visited on November 22nd. Additionally, the hike to the beach was easily accessible and not too difficult. Despite comments claiming it was a challenging hour-long hike, in reality, it only took us about 40 minutes and was mostly easy with a slightly steep and rocky section that lasted only about 5 minutes.

We were pleasantly surprised by how easily accessible the beach was, as we were able to walk there from Saracen without any issues. However, it would have been helpful if someone had warned us about the other area nearby.
