I have recently returned from a delightful three-day excursion to a beach that I had visited a decade ago. The establishment is family-owned, with a strong local presence and a highly efficient and attentive staff. The owners take great pride in their attention to detail and offer a true Cambodian experience that is both comfortable and enjoyable. The highlights of my stay were the beautiful walks through the jungle and along the shoreline, the magnificent beach that was perfect for both swimming and lounging, the charming bungalow that lulled me to sleep with the soothing sound of the sea waves, and the variety of water sports that were available. The overall atmosphere was fantastic, and I highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway that is free from the loud music and raucousness that can sometimes be found in Southeast Asia. This is the epitome of Cambodian tropical paradise, and it would be a shame to miss out on it!
This idyllic beach resort is truly deserving of a five-star rating. The breathtaking sunset view can be enjoyed from every angle of the resort, making for a truly unforgettable experience. The Khmer cuisine served here is simply divine, with the fish amok and fish in lemon sauce being particular highlights. The owners and staff are incredibly warm and accommodating, always willing to lend a helping hand. If you need assistance with booking or finding transportation to the island, simply give them a call before your arrival. The 15-minute walk through the lush jungle to reach this hidden paradise is a treat in itself, but if you have a heavy bag, don't hesitate to let them know and they will happily deliver it to your room.
As Australians who have explored some of the world's most stunning beaches, we can confidently say that Lazy Beach is our favorite beach resort on the planet. Despite rarely returning to places we've already visited, we keep finding ourselves drawn back to this tropical paradise. During our fifth visit since 2009, we were delighted to see that Lazy Beach has maintained its charm and beauty. It's a refreshing escape from the crowded, noisy, and polluted Saracen Bay on the island's east side. Lazy Beach boasts only 20 charming timber and thatch bungalows, as well as a single thatched beach bar/restaurant, all nestled on 600 meters of pristine private beach. The food is delectable, and the Khmer/UK owners are all delightful. We'll undoubtedly return to Lazy Beach many more times, and for longer stays. It's the epitome of a classic tropical beach holiday, just as they used to be.
The beach may seem like a lazy option, as it's a 45 minute walk from Sarasen bay. However, the tranquility and peacefulness it offers make it a worthwhile destination. With fewer visitors, you can relish in the serenity of the beach and enjoy its crystal clear blue waters. It's an ideal spot for a refreshing swim.
The beach is absolutely stunning, with adorable and roomy bungalows that offer breathtaking views of the sea from their terraces. The restaurant serves delicious food and refreshing drinks, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery. The beach faces west, providing an ideal setting to witness the spectacular sunset views. The beach is spotless, and the water is crystal clear, with several snorkeling locations available for exploration. The snorkel gear provided is of excellent quality, making the experience even more enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall charm of the place. It's hard not to fall in love with everything this beach has to offer.
