If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, Playa de Ajuy is the place to be. It's a bit of a hike and requires some climbing skills to get down to, but it's worth it. Make sure to visit when the tide is low for the best experience. Though it can be a bit of a challenge to get to, the unique beauty of this beach is definitely worth the effort. Plus, you don't want to miss out on the stunning views from the top of the bluffs. And if you're confused about the names, photos and locations in Google Maps, Playa de Ajuy is the main beach in town, the unnamed beach is the next beach south and Playa de Los Muertos is the third beach south.
Ajuy is a great spot to visit if you're looking for a beach getaway.
This wild beach is a sight to behold. Its black sand contrasts against the strong currents that make it difficult to access, requiring a climb to reach it. Despite the difficulty in getting there, it is a must-see destination for any beachgoer.
This place has a unique characteristic of black sand and is situated near a picturesque village - making it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway.
I would not recommend this beach at all. After having to trek through difficult terrain for 25 minutes each way, I was disappointed to find that the beach was nothing special and lacked any amenities. If you're looking for a beach experience, I would suggest going to Agua Amarga, which is only a 4-minute drive away and is much more easily accessible.
