We've visited around a dozen beaches on the island, but this one is the best! It's quite small but has plenty of rocks and hidden spots. It's also incredibly intimate, magical, and intriguing - every day feels different. It's mostly visited by locals, and we hope it stays that way. To get here, you'll need to take a gravel road (which is in great condition) for around 3 km.
Easily accessible and boasts a stunning black sand beach, which was featured in the Disney movie Eternals. What's more, it has free public entry, making it an ideal spot for a day out.
I had the pleasure of visiting this majestic beach on a cloudy afternoon, and I can only imagine how much more spectacular the experience would have been with a clear sky. The sense of freedom and peace that I felt there was unparalleled, and the fact that there were almost no other visitors made the experience all the more special. Although I didn't take a dip in the ocean due to the large waves and rocks, it was still wonderful to simply sit and take in the power of the ocean. The gravel road that provides access to the beach is also kept in excellent condition, and the best part is that entry to the beach is free and open to the public.
That place is a great hidden gem! It's off the beaten track and has beautiful brown sand.
I had the misfortune of losing my wedding ring here, but despite that, it's still a beautiful place with its brown sand. If anyone finds it, please contact me.
