Tranquil, but the water isn't suitable for much more than a few splashes. It's not the ideal place to have fun in the water like a duck.
A great spot for a chill getaway! We hopped off the last bus stop with no car info, but that didn't stop us from having a blast. The ocean was warm and inviting, and there were plenty of cafes, shops and other amenities. The water was crystal clear - I recommend it!
This place , situated on the Mediterranean Sea, offers a great spot to relax in the sun. The sand is fine and the surface is smooth, making it ideal for a day at the beach. Vehicular access is available to Gran Vía and the surrounding streets, with the exception of those reserved for local residents. It's easy to get to the beach on foot and there are a variety of shops and supermarkets nearby. The Alsa L-15 bus line stops just two minutes away, at the El Pedruchillo stop.
Playa El Arenal is expansive and open with its fine sand, lukewarm waters, and moderate waves. You can wade out pretty far before it reaches your waist due to its sandbanks. Unfortunately, it doesn't get five stars from me because there are no showers or footbaths in sight.
Playa el Arenal is situated in the town of San Javier, near La Manga del Mar Menor. It boasts nearly two kilometers of golden sand, with a width of over 15 meters. It is well-serviced by public transport, making it a popular tourist spot during the summer months. There are plenty of food and beverage services, so you can find everything you need when you arrive.
