Maracas beach

This location was quite enjoyable. A helpful gentleman arranged for us to have an umbrella and comfortable chairs. The tide shifted, and the water approached our toes. The coastline was quite rocky, so it is advisable to wear appropriate footwear. The water was rather refreshing initially. Across the street, there was a snack and beverage store that served potent cocktails if you prefer. Although there were a few intimidating insects and a deceased iguana on the beach, it was not a significant issue. We savored a delicious sharkbake sandwich, multiple beverages, and had a delightful time!

The beach is stunning and impeccably maintained, with a notable absence of trash cans. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that visitors are taking responsibility for their environment and keeping the beach clean. The lush mangrove trees offer ample shade throughout the day, and the calm waters make it an ideal spot for children or inexperienced swimmers.
