This afternoon I was invited to go for a walk along the beach of Rodeira, located just a few steps away from downtown Cangas.

It is clean and well-maintained, and has a park and grove area that provides plenty of shaded areas to rest and eat. It is also a great spot for shellfishing, but don't worry, the beach is not muddy! At low tide, you can walk out quite far, and at high tide the water is of a normal depth. The waves are not frequent, and there is a lifeguard service as well as a shower with a footbath. Plus, there is a beach bar in the tree area at the entrance, with great views of the city of Vigo. Best of all, the beach is easily accessible!

We visited the beach in the morning and it was one of the best I've seen in Vigo. The parking lot fills up quickly, so I'd recommend arriving around 11 to ensure easy accessibility. The water was cold, but the clarity was remarkable.
