Raxó's biggest beach is blessed with soft, powdery sand and despite it being late August, it wasn't overly crowded. There were plenty of places to grab a bite to eat too. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, unlike other beaches in the vicinity.

Praia de Xiorto is located in the town of Raxó, in the Poio municipality, in the center of the Ría de Pontevedra. It's an urban beach with tranquil waters and soft sand, facing south and sheltered from the winds. In summertime, this wide, sandy area of approximately 300 meters becomes the most popular beach in the town, since it is near the hotels, bars and restaurants of Raxó. It is divided from Praia de Raxó by a pier, and at the other end, you can find Praia de Pedra Alta.
