Playa Quemada - all beaches

Lovely, but it can be quite windy. Make sure to bring windbreakers and you'll be all set!

This secluded beach cove at the far end of Playa Mujeres can be easily accessed when the tide is low, but when the tide is high, it becomes quite isolated and getting out can be quite challenging, as it requires climbing over wet and slippery rocks.

What a spacious beach! Not too many people here, so it's perfect for those who want to enjoy some peace and quiet.

The beaches in this national park can be a bit tricky to get to, and you'll need to pay the 3 euro entrance fee to get in. But if you're looking for a beach, it's worth the effort. The ones closest to the car parks are usually the busiest, and you may even see some nudity. There's a bar with friendly staff nearby, but it may not be worth the effort. All in all, it's an unappealing experience.

The scenery is breathtaking and the beach is larger and more open to the sea than its neighbor, Playa del Papagayo. The waters, however, can be a bit choppier, so be sure to keep a close eye on them. To get there, you can park at Playa del Papagayo and then take a leisurely 10-15 minute stroll to Playa del Pozo.

Great beach for a day out - there are no facilities, but it's clean, friendly, and absolutely stunning. The main beach has a sandy shoreline and rocks beneath the surface, but there are also some beautiful secluded bays with sandy access. If you want to get a good spot, it's best to arrive early as it can get quite busy later in the morning.
