San Sebastian Beach is an awesome spot for surfing! There are lots of places to rent boards, wetsuits and take lessons. During the summer months, you can even rent the gear right on the beach!

Playa la Concha

La Concha is a beach that I have visited many times and it is far from my expectations. The sand is far from white and the water is far from clear and warm. The area is cramped and there is no space to relax and contemplate. The facilities that are supposedly available are not present, with showers and footwash stations being non-existent. Benches and rentable chairs/umbrellas are nowhere to be found, let alone bars and restaurants. The lifeguards are not to be seen and the bathrooms are in a state of disrepair. Anything that is not listed is not within a block away. filled with pushy hustlers and obnoxious guests, making it an unpleasant experience. We will not be returning to La Concha anytime soon.

Truly extraordinary! It has everything you need for a perfect day at the shore: clean restrooms, lockers, showers, delicious food, chairs, and wonderful people. Plus, the view is simply stunning!

If you plan to spend the day at the beach, you should be aware that you can only park for up to 5 hours at a time, so you will need to find somewhere else to eat.
