This beach on Lake Como is stunning! It's perfect for swimming and unwinding. There's plenty of grass and shade, plus a great cafe for lunch or a glass of wine.

Spiaggia Pubblica di Bellagio
10 Natalya Ivanova

This is an excellent spot for relaxation and swimming. The water is crystal clear, and there is plenty of room to move around. It's not overly crowded, either.

Lido Menaggio

The beach's facilities are in dire need of repairs, as they appear old and run down. The prices for food and drinks are exorbitant, considering the quality of the offerings. It's a pity, as the location and the lake are breathtakingly beautiful.

Spiaggia Lerai

This beach may be small, but it is undeniably beautiful. The rocks make it advisable to wear water shoes or even flip flops when entering the water.

AL puunt Beach

This is a great spot to escape the more crowded areas of Como Lake. I highly recommend trying the panino Legnone - the quality of the bread is top-notch. Kayaking is also a great option here, as it's only 7 euros per hour and you can easily reach Menaggio, Tremezzo, or Belaggio. Plus, I was even greeted by some friendly ducks!

Bau Bau Beach

Today, my furry friend Ugo and I had a delightful time spending four hours on Bau Bau Beach Malpensata. The beach is conveniently secured by two gates at each entrance, which allowed us to let Ugo run freely. The water is crystal clear and pristine, and there is even a fountain for dogs to drink from, though unfortunately it was not functioning today. Admission is free and unmonitored, so feel free to bring your own blankets and umbrellas. While there is shade in the morning, it does decrease as the day goes on. Parking is available at the train station, which is just a five-minute walk away and costs €1.50 per hour. Simply follow the blue wallpaper path to the stairs that lead directly down to the beach, which is marked with a sign that reads "spiaggia per cani".
