Lido Menaggio is located on the Como Lake and it is in the 7th place out of 25 beaches in the Como region 26.7 km away from its center, the city of Como. It is one of the beaches of Menaggio settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and concrete cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

A significant part of the beach is occupied by beach clubs with limited access The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. The beach was a pleasant spot with a great swimming pool, although it was disappointing that it was closed on September 4th. The availability of umbrellas for 10 euros was a nice touch, and there was convenient parking nearby. We were fortunate to find a spot, as it can be a bit of a challenge at times.

The beach's facilities are in dire need of improvement. The pool poses a safety hazard with missing drain covers, especially around the children's pool. The toilets are often unclean and lack proper lighting. Additionally, the staff seems to arbitrarily charge different prices for entry and food/drink, which is frustrating for visitors. As other reviewers have noted, the food prices are exorbitant for the quality of the offerings. Many visitors opt to bring their own food and drink from the nearby supermarket, which is a short walk away. With some investment in the facilities, this beach could be a lovely lido.

The beach's facilities are in dire need of repairs, as they appear old and run down. The prices for food and drinks are exorbitant, considering the quality of the offerings. It's a pity, as the location and the lake are breathtakingly beautiful.

If you're planning a trip to Como lake, make sure to add the beach to your itinerary. It's a must-visit spot that offers a beautiful swimming experience. Contrary to what you might expect, the water is not cold at all. And while you're there, don't forget to try your hand at mini-golf!

Although the water is not heated, it is refreshing and becomes more comfortable once you get used to it. The entry fee is €6 for adults for the entire day or €5 after 2 pm. The nearby beach club bar serves delicious drinks at reasonable prices, such as an aperol spritz for €6. The food menu is extensive and offers a variety of seafood, meat, and vegetarian options. Overall, the beach is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
